Ricky Morton defeated Matt Cardona. Prior to the match, Cardona and Chelsea Green came out with the ECW TV Title (Cardona proclaimed himself the new ECW TV Champion after defeating Rhino, the last ECW TV Title holder, at GCW Most Notorious last night) and proceed to toss the belt into the trash. Cardona said he didn’t get Paul Heyman’s permission to use the belt, that the last time he spoke to Heyman was two years ago when he wrote Heyman (then working for WWE) a letter telling him he just wanted to wrestle, only to be released by WWE two days later, and that Heyman could kiss his ass. After the match, Joey Janela came down and saved Morton from a beating from Cardona.

Matt Cardona (with Chelsea Green) vs. Rhino

As always, the GCW Universe lets Cardona hear it with a chorus of harsh boos while he walks to the ring. He takes a fan’s sign that reads “Detroit vs. Cardona” and rips it up. Green grabs a microphone, and speaking over very loud boos, says they’d love nothing more than to invite everyone to the Hammerstein Ballroom to celebrate the life of Joey Janela. She insults his foul breath, his greasy hair, and his nasty odor, which leaves the scent of alcohol in the air. Green says Janela will leave behind the legacy of being a loser after she and Cardona end him next Sunday, when they’ll punch his ticket to hell. She says neither one of them is afraid of Rhino, either.

Cardona reminds fans that the last time he was in this “F” town, he got screwed again, but that won’t happen again. “The only screwjob going on tonight is going on in my hotel room with my hot new wife,” Cardona says. He accuses Janela of being a “cheap f—” like Brett Lauderdale. Cardona claims that GCW is running on “Cardona Power”, and he vows to end Janela next Sunday. But for now, he’s focused on Rhino. He says he and Rhino are ECW Originals, but he reminds everyone that Ezekiel Jackson is the last-ever ECW World Champion. He demands respect for Jackson, but he says he’ll become the new ECW Television Champion when he beats Rhino.

The ECW legend comes to the ring and threatens to rip Green in half. He then makes it clear that he’ll beat Cardona up, Detroit-style. Rhino overpowers Cardona off the bat and sees right through his trickery when he goes for a handshake. The brawl spills out into the crowd, and at this point, it’s more of a mugging, as Rhino uses a chair on “The Deathmatch King.” The fight travels over to the venue’s disco floor, and Rhino hits Cardona with a trash can.

Green distracts Rhino, and Cardona capitalizes by using the ropes to kick Rhino below the belt. He chokes the legend with his shirt, and Green gets a cheap shot in on him, too.

Both men are down after a double clothesline. Rhino takes control again. Cardona hits the Rough Ryder, but Rhino kicks out. He brings out a sack and reveals that it contains the ECW Television Championship. Rhino ducks a belt shot, and Cardona accidentally hits the referee. With the official down, Rhino drops Cardona with a Gore for the unofficial three count. Rhino gets a door and puts it in the corner. Cardona dodges Rhino, so the Manbeast Gores Green through the door. Cardona hits Rhino below the belt and hits him with the ECW Television Championship for the three count.

Winner & new ECW Television Champion: Matt Cardona

Cardona and Chelsea are backstage with Gia to discuss their recent losses at Hard to Kill. Cardona says he realizes how rare it was to get a chance at the Impact title and he lost so no excuses but he’s going to stay Alwayz Ready. Matt says he’s going to do everything he needs to in order to create new opportunities. Chelsea says Matt’s being too modest and deserved to win his match, he did everything he needed to. Chelsea says she also deserved to win her match and let it slip through her fingers. Tasha Steelz and Savannah Evans walk up and tell Gia to get out of here. Tasha tells Chelsea she lost because Tasha took it right from her fingers, because that’s what you do when you’re a winner. She tells Chelsea it must be hard to wake up everyday next to a loser like Matt. Matt and Tasha get in each others faces and Chelsea challenges her to a match. Tasha goes to walk off but Chelsea shoves her and tells her to ‘think about it winner’ before walking away.

Moose then tries to hit a move from the top rope, but Cardona pushes him off the top rope through a table set up on the outside. Moose took more of the concrete than the table. Morrissey now has a prosthetic leg thrown to him from the crowd and uses it as a weapon on Cardona in the ring. Morrissey almost picks up the win following a devasting chokeslam to Cardona but the match continues. Cardona hits his finisher and attempts the pin but Moose pulls the referee out of the ring.

Cardona is fired up and fights with Moose inside the ring. Cardona hits him with a number of strikes and eventually hits Moose with a roll through, but the champion kicks out. Moments later, Moose accidentally hits a spear on the referee. Morrissey reappears and hits a powerbomb but there’s no referee to count to three.
